Submit Your Organization to the Second Chance Guide Directory
We list housing programs, employment services, legal aid clinics, recovery organizations, and other nonprofits that serve people rebuilding after incarceration. Inclusion is free for verified organizations.
Who we list — and who we don’t
Not every submission gets published. We review each one before listing. The goal is a directory people can trust, not a directory with volume.

Common questions
How long does verification take?
Most submissions are reviewed within 2–7 business days. We may follow up by email if we need additional information. You will not receive a response if your submission does not meet our listing criteria.
Do I need a 501(c)(3) to be listed?
Not necessarily. We list state-registered nonprofits, government programs, and faith-based organizations that can provide a verifiable registration number. For-profit businesses are not listed in the free directory — see our Partners page for commercial partnership options.
Can I request changes or removal after listing?
Yes. Email contact@secondchanceguide.com from your organization’s official email address and include your listing URL.
My organization is for-profit. Can we still be listed?
For-profit staffing companies and employers with a documented second-chance hiring commitment can apply for a Featured Employment Partner listing. See the Partners page for details.
Is there a cost?
Standard nonprofit listings are free. We do not charge organizations serving reentry populations to be listed in this directory.
